Real Life Advanced Obedience
(Group Lessons)

Location:

Fee: $195

Registration: Online or call 684-5789

This is a 6-week course. In our Real Life Advanced Obedience course the goal is to attain reliable and consistent off-leash responses from our dogs. This off-leash work is the foundation of most specialty-types of training including Agility, Field Work, Obedience Trials, etc. The skills developed in this course are extremely valuable as safety is an issue when dogs are off-leash. Wildlife abounds not only on hiking trails but also in many areas of the Springs and surrounding communities. Next time you go hiking with your dog off-leash and a Mountain Lion runs across the trail in front of you it is imperative that your dog is under voice control. A copy of your dog's current Rabies vaccination certificate is required.

Please no chain collars of leashes, or flexi-leads in class. Thanks!

Online registration and payment is available - proceed to the next page.

Note that this course is held outdoors so please dress accordingly.

Assistance Dog Training

(Individual)

Service Dog and Hearing Dog training and certification are offered on an individual basis. After an initial intensive 2 - 4 week training period in the Trainer's home, the dog and family undergoes this training in their own home to ensure the development of a strong and lasting bond between dog and person that leads to a team relationship. A suitable dog must meet certain minimum requirements including having passed a temperament test, being physically sound for the duties that will be required of it, etc. It is sometimes possible to train a family pet for these duties, but a suitable dog will be located by the Trainer when necessary.

Fee: Varies based upon behaviors taught with a $1500 base fee. All costs will be calculated prior to commencement of training, and will be disclosed in the proposal after the lesson plan is developed. The base fee is due at signing of contract between Trainer(s) and Client(s).

What my clients are saying:

My experience with Paw Pals has given me an education about dogs. Going to class each week was a major event for my Aussie and I. The opportunity to go somewhere and work with my dog, alongside other dogs and their people was incredible. The places we can go and the things we can do are endless! We hope to compete in canine Frisbee events soon. In the near future we would like to start training for agility and herding competitions. Thanks to Paw Pals I have built an incredible bond with my Australian Shepherd. [Elizabeth Brooks] Reynolds is a top-notch instructor, who will show your favorite canine the same compassion, love and care that you would. -- C.
